What Will You Learn?
The PADI Rescue Diver Course trains you to respond to emergencies in the water. You will learn to use a variety of techniques. The course is both practical and theorical. Here is what you will learn:
- Self rescue
- Recognizing and managing stress in other divers
- Emergency management and equipment
- Rescuing panicked divers
- Rescuing unresponsive divers
This course is often described as one of the most difficult but also one of the most rewarding a diver can take. It is a prerequisite to higher PADI certification such as diver master.
