Private Underground River Tour

Description

This Private Underground River Tour will first bring you from Puerto Princesa to the small town of Sabang. The travel in an air conditioned van exclusive to your group will take around 2 hours. From the port of Sabang, you will then take a boat for about 15 to 20 minutes to the actual site of the Subterranean River National Park.

Arriving on site, you will be able to see small monkeys and monitor lizards in the wild. Please note that bringing foods in the natural park is not allowed by the management of Underground River. It is actually for your own safety because some monkeys can try to steal food (they are especially attracted to flashy plastic bags containing junk food). That being said, the monkeys are not dangerous and are quite entertaining to observe.

While waiting for your boat to embark in the Underground River itself, you will also have the opportunity to relax a bit on a beautiful beach. Your tour will then proceed by the visit of the Subterranean river, which was elected one of the “New 7 Wonders of Nature“.

The tour can also include a stop at the zipline near Sabang later in the afternoon, at your convenience. You can simply inquire about it with your tour guide. Kindly note that the zipline entrance and service fees are not included in this package and will thus remain at your charge. At the end of the day, your private van will bring you back to your hotel in Puerto Princesa.

Important note: Pick-up time for this private tour is only between 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM. We also can accommodate with flight arrivals in Puerto Princesa City International Airport until 10 AM only.

To confirm your reservation you just need to make a 30% confirmation deposit online today. You will be able to complete the remaining balance when you’re in Puerto Princesa (in our office or when your tour guide picks you up at your hotel).

Pick-up location in Puerto Princesa:

Please make sure that your accommodation is located within the Puerto Princesa town proper area before making your booking online for this tour. If your accommodation is outside Puerto Princesa town proper limits, please do inform us in advance.
