Las Cabanas Beach: The Nearest Beach To El Nido
Las Cabanas Beach holds its name from Las Cabanas Resort, one of the oldest resort in El Nido. Very easy to access, it’s located just a few minutes away from El Nido town and very popular among tourists.
How To Go To Las Cabanas Beach?
- With a tricycle: The price for 2 persons is around 150PHP. The trip will take you around 10 to 15 minutes.
- With a motorbike: You can rent a scooter or a motorbike and go to Las Cabanas Beach by yourself. With El Nido Paradise booking office, you can rent a scooter or a motorbike.
It’s really easy to find Las Cabanas Beach. Just get out of town and take the road following the coastline. You will know you’re arrived when you’ll see numerous tricycle parked along the way!
What Can You Do In Las Cabanas Beach?
First of all, this is a very good place to relax, sun-bath and swim. Contrarily to the beach in El Nido, the waters are clean and it poses no threat to swim there. Just note that, some parts of the year, there are a certain type of plancton that can provoke a stinging sensation (that’s harmless though).
On the beach, you’ll find several resto-bars where you can order a drink or some food. One of them even offers deckchairs for its customers. At the end of the beach, you’ll find Las Cabanas Resort and its bar and restaurant.
There is also a zip-line between the coast and the nearby island. You can access it via a footpath behind the beach. Last but not least, Las Cabanas Beach is also highly appreciated for its sunsets. The beach is facing west and you’ll get to witness very nice sunsets there!
