How To Get To The Ille Cave?

Going to the Ille Cave will take you around 45 minutes with a motorbike (click here to rent one) or a tricycle. You then will have to walk for a few more minutes to access the entrance of the cave itself.

What Will You Find In The Ille Cave?

The Ille Cave has a clear archealogical value. It testifies of the presence of inhabitants more than 12,000 years ago. Poteries, animal bones were found during excavations, as well as signs of cremation as old as 8000 years. There is no exposition of such artefacts but a few boards are there to give you more insights on the cave and its history.

You will be able to enter the cave and visit it. As it can be pretty dark, it’s preferable to take a light with you. The rocks can be slippery at some places and caution is required while exploring the cave. It’s also possible to climb up the rocky formation above it.
