Fun dives are opened to any certified scuba diver. They will get you to dive in various dive sites in El Nido and discover the Bacuit bay underwater. The fun dives in El Nido include your equipement, the boat transfers, the lunch (for daily fun dives) and your PADI divemaster or instructor.
There are different fun dives we offer in El Nido. The most common are daily fun dives but you can also get night dives and sunrise dives. On this page, you will find more details about the fun dives you can choose from. You can use your first fun dive as a refresh dive (if you didn’t dive for a while).

Daily Fun Dives Trips
The Daily Trips include 2 or 3 dives on the course of one day on different diving sites around El Nido’s Bacuit Bay. The trip starts around 8:00AM and finishes around 4:00PM.
The planning of the day is as follow: you’ll have your first dive in the morning, then a break of about 1 hour when you can drink some tea or coffee and eat cookies provided on the boat. After a second dive in the morning, you’ll have lunch either on the boat or on a beach. The third dive is the afternoon. After coming back to the dive center, you’ll get a debrief with your divemaster and fill in your log-book.
Included with this fun dives package are: your equipment, the boat transfers, your lunch, your divemaster (1 instructor for 4 people maximum). You can also rent a GoPro, as well as a computer.

Night Dives
The Night Fun Dive includes one night dive. To book this kind of fun dive, you must be at least an Advanced Open Water Diver (the PADI level 2 of scuba diving certification).
Your boat will head to the diving site about 30 minutes before sunset, around 6:00PM. You’ll enjoy the beautiful sunset from the boat, while drinking coffee or tea, and having cookies. When it will be night, it will be go diving. Night dives allow you to discover a different marine life than during the day. You’ll be able to see crustaceans, nudibranchs, seahorses. With your lights, you’ll discover the underwater world in a new way.

Sunrise Dives
The Sunrise Fun Dives Package includes 2 dives at sunrise in the Bacuit Bay. It’s open to any certified scuba diver.
Your day will start about 30 minutes before sunrise, around 4:30AM or 5:00AM. Your first dive will happen just when sun rises. After a surface time of about 1 hour, while you can relax and enjoy a drink and some biscuits, you’ll go on your second dive. You’ll be back to El Nido town before lunch.
The Sunrise dives allow you to discover the underwater world at a time of the day when the sea is waking up. This a best moment of the day to encounter blacktip and whitetip reef sharks.
